Teachers Union to Endorse Nicole Strong

NICOLE STRONG TO BE ENDORSED BY FULTON COUNTY TEACHERS UNION

ROSWELL, GA - The Fulton County Teachers Union will endorse Nicole Strong in the race for Georgia’s 48th State House District. The union is set to formally announce its endorsement of Strong at Creekside High School on Wednesday, June 8 at 5 p.m. 

Nicole sees firsthand how Georgia’s teachers struggle through her husband Alex, a middle-school teacher in Fulton County Schools. She knows current state leaders have neglected classrooms for too long and has made improving education central to her campaign.

The union tells us, “We are pleased to announce that we will endorse Nicole Strong in the upcoming election. She is the strongest advocate for education on the ticket and we know that she will fight for the teachers and students in Fulton County.”

Nicole is a longtime volunteer for nonprofits that focus on education and literacy, including the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), and serves as a volunteer community representative on the Board of Directors of Literacy-For-All.

Nicole tells us, “Education is so important. I am a big supporter of educators, who take care of our kids every single day.”

As the representative for Georgia’s 48th District, Nicole will ensure every child’s opportunity to succeed by fighting for access to updated resources, from computers and textbooks at school, to high-speed broadband at home. She will also work to better provide for teachers, who are struggling to make ends meet.

ABOUT NICOLE STRONG - Nicole Strong is running for Georgia’s 48th State House District. Nicole is a Fulton County Native and attended Roswell High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Indiana University - Purdue University: Indianapolis, where she met her husband, Alex, now a middle-school teacher in Fulton County Schools.
